FITTERS MANAGER

A well-established industrial / manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Fitters Manager to lead and manage a busy mechanical maintenance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, trade-tested Mechanical Fitter with strong leadership experience in a heavy industrial / plant / manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter (Red Seal)
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar environment
- Minimum 5 years’ management experience
- Strong preventative and breakdown maintenance background
- Experience in heavy industry / plant maintenance
- Exposure to CMMS / electronic maintenance systems
- Knowledge of OHSA / health & safety compliance
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment
- Hydraulics experience advantageous

Key Focus of the Role:
- Managing the Fitters / Mechanical Maintenance team
- Driving planned and preventative maintenance
- Overseeing breakdowns and repairs
- Ensuring plant reliability and mechanical efficiency
- Managing workshop productivity and team performance
- Supporting safety, compliance, and maintenance planning
