Al Majal Human Resources is hiring an experienced HSE Manager for an oilfield service provider in Basra.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Lead and implement the company’s HSE management system across fleet and field operations
⦁ Ensure full compliance with local regulations, client standards, and international HSE best practices
⦁ Oversee driver and vehicle safety programs, including journey management, defensive driving, and incident investigations
⦁ Review, approve, and supervise lifting operations, including lifting plans, risk assessments, and method statements
⦁ Deliver and coordinate HSE training for drivers, operators, and field personnel
⦁ Conduct site inspections, audits, toolbox talks, and safety meetings
⦁ Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and implement corrective actions
⦁ Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and performance indicators for management
⦁ Promote a strong safety culture across operations and the contractor workforce

Requirements:
⦁ 5–7 years of progressive experience in HSE roles
⦁ Proven HSE experience in fleet operations, including driver and vehicle safety management
⦁ Solid experience in heavy lifting operations (preparation, review, and supervision of lifting plans)
⦁ Strong background in delivering HSE training to drivers, operators, and field teams
⦁ Prior experience in Oil & Gas and/or logistics sector
⦁ Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
⦁ Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
