Mechanical Supervisor

Mechanical Supervisor – Offshore FLNG (Please read all requirements before applying)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to support offshore FLNG operations on floating assets. The role is focused on ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of rotating and stationary equipment while maintaining the highest safety standards across all maintenance activities.

Location: Offshore Congo
Department: Maintenance
Start date: ASAP
Reporting to: Maintenance Coordinator
Rotation: 6/6 weeks (ongoing)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support EPCIC and project phases by reviewing operations and maintenance deliverables and participating in FATs, SATs, commissioning, and startup activities
- Lead and execute preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance programs
- Supervise installation, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of rotating and stationary equipment
- Monitor equipment performance, availability, and reliability, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis
- Troubleshoot failures and initiate work orders through SAP
- Coordinate maintenance priorities, materials, and spare parts management
- Supervise mechanical crews, vendors, and contractors offshore
- Mentor and develop national and local staff to ensure effective knowledge transfer
- Support turnaround activities from safe shutdown through restart
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and handover documentation
- Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and offshore regulations

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- 15+ years’ experience in Oil and Gas, preferably LNG, FLNG, or FPSO
- Previous offshore supervisory experience
- Valid BOSIET and HUET certifications
- Strong knowledge of LNG maintenance management and rotating equipment
- Experience with SAP maintenance systems
- Good command of the English language
