Onshore Instrument Commissioning Engineer

The Instrument Commissioning Engineer is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant commissioning of instrumentation systems throughout project lifecycles, ensuring readiness for handover to operations in accordance with organisational and industry standards.
Requirements:
- National Certificate, Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of ten years’ experience across instrumentation design, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Demonstrated experience within the offshore oil and gas sector, with strong familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and certification requirements.
- Proven hands-on commissioning experience covering instrumentation and control systems.
- Practical exposure to mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning workflows.
- Offshore project experience is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems, including field instruments, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and related control architectures.
