Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our oil and gas service operations in Tripoli, Libya. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, commercial terms, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Manage end-to-end procurement activities for oil and gas service projects, including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding of purchase orders and contracts.
⦁ Review technical requisitions, drawings, and specifications in coordination with engineering and project teams.
⦁ Identify qualified local and international vendors and maintain an approved vendor list.
⦁ Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze technical and commercial bids, and prepare bid evaluation reports.
⦁ Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contractual conditions to achieve best value.
⦁ Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
⦁ Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and payment processing.
⦁ Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues, claims, or disputes.
⦁ Support project schedules by ensuring timely availability of materials and services.
⦁ Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or related discipline).
⦁ Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the oil and gas services industry.
⦁ Strong knowledge of oilfield equipment, materials, and service procurement.
⦁ Experience dealing with both local and international suppliers.
⦁ Familiarity with contract terms, Incoterms, and international procurement practices.
⦁ Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
⦁ Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
⦁ Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Language Requirements:
⦁ Fluency in English is required.
⦁ Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Employment Terms:
⦁ One Year Contract can be extended
⦁ Work location: Tripoli, Libya.
