Join IntelliS Malaysia: Recruitment Manager (Oil & Gas Engineering)

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to lead technical hiring in Malaysia. You will support key oil and gas engineering projects across the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Develop and run end-to-end recruitment for engineering roles (e.g., engineers, supervisors, QA/QC specialists) to meet project needs.
⦁ Build and maintain a strong talent pool in Malaysia and Southeast Asia using industry networks and targeted sourcing.
⦁ Work with project teams to define hiring needs, write job descriptions, and align hires with client goals.
⦁ Manage full-cycle recruitment: source, screen, interview, assess, negotiate offers, and follow up after hire.
⦁ Track time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire to improve processes and report to HR leaders.
⦁ Stay updated on oil and gas trends, talent markets, and Malaysian labor laws for better hiring decisions.

Job Requirements:
⦁ At least 3 years of recruitment experience in oil and gas or energy; APAC experience preferred.
⦁ Strong knowledge of technical roles (drilling, production, pipelines, offshore) and ability to assess skills.
⦁ Proven success in talent pipelining, executive search, and hiring technical teams.
⦁ Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Must speak English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
⦁ Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, visas, and local job boards, associations, and universities.
⦁ Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
